In the sealing of media lines in buildings there is an endless number of applications and requirements. Often we have to take already existing circumstances into account. There isn't always a standard solution. Instead, an individual solution has to be found and implemented. We work with our customers to develop the fitting seals that meet the technical requirements in all fields. We support you in your project from planning to realisation. Regardless of whether the job is a complete renovation, multi-line feed-throughs for a variety of media with unusual diameters or an extraordinary requirement in terms of building systems, Hauff-Technik always has the right system and the right solution.

Annular Space Seals and Custom Solutions for Your Building entry

Standard solutions for home entries often fall short of expectations or may not align with specific structural conditions. This can also occur when sealing media conduits. To address these specialized needs, Hauff-Technik provides an extensive range of customized solutions, including annular space seals. Designed for maximum adaptability, these seals are perfect for renovating or retrofitting existing media lines.

Custom Annular Space Seals for Reliable Sealing

Our annular space seals are specifically designed for installation in casing and empty conduits, facilitating the effective sealing of media lines that run through these pipes. These HRD seals are offered in both closed and split designs. The HRD SGi annular space seals incorporate segment ring technology, allowing for on-site adjustments to pipe diameters and providing enhanced flexibility for handling unknown media lines.

These seals are suitable for core drillings and casing pipes with diameters starting at 40 mm. As a standard option, they are available for pipe diameters up to 200 mm. Additionally, we offer custom-made, millimeter-accurate annular space seals tailored to customer specifications. These specialized solutions can be produced for eccentric configurations and other unique requirements.

Casing Pipes and Flanges for Every Application

Custom solutions may be necessary for the renovation or retrofitting of entries in base plates and wall areas. In such cases, a wall breakthrough is often utilized, particularly when there is no empty pipe available for building entry. The key challenge is to ensure a gas- and water-tight seal at these entries in both the base plate and the wall.

Hauff-Technik's custom solutions are versatile and applicable in various scenarios. We offer stainless steel casing pipes with central flanges designed for embedding in concrete, which create an effective waterproof barrier. These stainless steel pipes provide a standardized receptacle for sealing packages. Additionally, we supply fixed and loose flange casing pipes made from stainless steel, which can be secured in multiple ways. Furthermore, we offer a range of solutions for embedding, anchoring, or concreting in walls, ceilings, and floors.

Splice Sealing Elements for Various Media Lines

Splice sealing elements provide effective solutions for sealing media lines directly at the end of conduit runs. These elements are available in various configurations, suitable for district heating, electrical, and telecommunications lines. As a result, the sizes of the segment rings used to seal each line vary accordingly.

The splice sealing elements for district heating are designed for both supply and return lines, available in several diameters, including 75 mm, 90 mm, and 110 mm. For electrical and telecommunications cables, these elements can seal up to six cables through a single connection. Different diameters are offered to accommodate various types of media lines, making these elements suitable for both single and multiple service house entries. They can handle cable diameters ranging from 5 to 8 mm, 7 to 13 mm, and 26 to 30 mm.

Custom Solutions for Retrofitting Annular Space Seals

In many cases, it becomes necessary to install a supply line into a building at a later date, or existing media lines may need to be sealed. Standard solutions often fall short in these situations. Custom sealing systems utilizing annular space seals are the ideal solution.

Existing supply lines can pose significant challenges for construction companies. Typically, installing an annular space seal requires disconnecting the line. A more efficient approach involves the use of a split flange, which consists of two parts that are placed around the lines before being bolted together. Complementing this, a split annular space seal can be installed over existing lines, enabling retrofitting with minimal effort while ensuring complete gas and water tightness.

Annular space seals with segment ring technology are designed to accommodate multiple media lines, allowing for effective sealing of casing pipes with several supply lines. Furthermore, individual supply lines can remain unused, making it easy to introduce additional supply lines later on. This flexibility makes Hauff-Technik’s solutions both intelligent and future-proof.

Renovation Solution for Sealing Without Casing Pipe or Base Plate

DiSan is specifically designed for retrofitting in areas of buildings that do not have a solid base plate. This flowable, mineral sealing sand transforms into a plastic mass when it comes into contact with water. DiSan is particularly effective for retrofitting seals in transformer stations, as it fills all gaps regardless of the shape of the penetration, ensuring maximum flexibility. Additionally, DiSan provides a fast and tool-free sealing solution, making it ideal for various sealing applications.
